Pantry Hacks for an Organized Kitchen

A well-stocked pantry with a lot of items in it.

Kitchens can be one of the most cluttered areas in the home. For those who live in an older home, this can be an even greater issue. There is not only minimal counter space for cooking, but storage is also an issue. You need room for food, spices, dish cleaning supplies and cooking ware. With a limited number of drawers and cabinets, this can be a problem. Even having a pantry may not be of big help when you don’t know how to properly organize one to use it to its full potential. Luckily Home-Styler has found some pantry hackss for and organized kitchen!

PANTRY HACK #1: Rolling drawers. Whoever came up with these was a genius! Rather than trying to store all your items on a shelf, only to have some get pushed to the back and be forgotten forever (or creating a fiasco when trying to get them out), all you have to do is pull out the drawer. It also lets you organize things better as you can color-code or store food by size, etc.

PANTRY HACK #2: Soup dispensers. For those with some storage room, these can be put on a shelf. While those that desire to save shelf space for other things can hang this on the wall.

PANTRY HACK #3: Door storage. This is an often forgotten yet very useful place to store things. Just hook up a wire rack or an over-the-door hanger to place smaller things like spices, plastic bags, or cake decorating tools on.

PANTRY HACK #4: Under the shelf. If you have smaller items placed on a lower shelf, then try adding a rack on the bottom of the shelf directly above. This gives you a little extra space and can be a great place to put items that you can quickly grab.
